I have been boarding wonderful furry friends through Rover since 2019! I love the wide variety of breeds and personalities, and I have yet to meet a dog that doesn't make me smile! I live in a dog-friendly condo, so dogs that are used to condo/apartment buildings (including elevators) and walking for exercise (vs. running around a yard) would do best with me. I don't have any pets or kids (and typically only board one dog at a time), so your pup's vacation can be as stress-free as possible! I live near the lakefront path, so if your dog can walk (or even run) for 2-4 miles at a time, then we can certainly do that! If not, we can stay closer to home for some short walks, or hang out in several parks close by. I take lots of pictures of my furry visitors, and will be happy to send you updates and pics as often as you want!

Jennifer is fantastic. She learns as much as possible from your dog routines and behaviours so she can provide excellent care. She adapts to the special needs of your pooch and makes sure they are happy. Keeps constant communication so you are at ease away from your doggie. My dog is extremely attached to me and anxious when I'm away, he had a great time with Jennifer. I'm at peace when I have to travel knowing he is in the best care of a caring person. Highly recommended!!!

Trust and communication is very important to me! I strive to be very responsive and transparent with my pet parents. I want to know all the details that will make your dog feel comfortable and happy while staying with me! You will also get a daily text and picture to hear about our adventures. :) I never take dogs off-leash when we are outside. I live in a pet-friendly building and neighborhood, so there are other dogs around, but if your pup is skittish, I am good at steering away to avoid interaction with others.

A typical day
I love going on walks and often go 1-2 miles each day, if your pup is up for it! Otherwise I have lots of grassy areas where we can wander around on shorter outings. Indoors, we can play tug-of-war and fetch, or just cuddle on the couch while watching dog-friendly movies (Homeward Bound, Lady & the Tramp). I also have fun taking pics of my pups, so you can get as many photo updates of our time together as you want!

I work from home full time, so I will be home for most of the day on most work days. On the evenings and weekends, I spend much of my time getting my new home in order! Since I don't have a yard, walks are an important part of my daily schedule with your dog! I will always ask about their schedule and try to have our daily routine mirror what they are used to at home. Otherwise, my default is a long walk in the morning, a quick walk right before bedtime, and 1-2 other walks in the day, depending on the dog's energy level and needs.
