My name is Jennifer & I'm the pack leader here at The Nut House :-) I have been an animal lover since I was a small child & always had dogs, cats & farm animals as pets. I really LOVE dogs however & have even been called a dog whisperer because "listen" & understand their needs. Currently I have 5 dogs, all of which are adopted rescues. I foster rescue dogs & work to place abandoned, unwanted dogs in good homes from time to time. I also do dog training for house breaking & socializing. I was a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator for over 15 years adding to my experience & expert knowledge of animal behavior, medication administration, nursing care, special needs diets, etc. If your dogs have any special dietary or medical needs, I have experience with nursing care of animals because of my years of having special needs animals & my training in wildlife care. Since all my dogs are rescues, especially with 3 being seniors, they each have special needs & some have anxiety problems so I am used to lots of discipline in making sure they get the tender, comforting care, medications & dietary needs met in timely manners & on a schedule. Also, we have a small business & I work from home, so I am home 99% of the time. If your dog is afraid of loud noises & storms, they will be cuddled & loved on during those times to keep down their anxieties. We live in a huge dog house according to my husband because everything here is designed around the needs of dogs. Our backyard is fenced in & we have doggie doors so the pooches can go out as they please but, I can take them for a walk if you prefer. I also use gates to be able to separate dogs if needed & to ensure the dogs aren't able to escape if someone opens a door to go outside. Your dogs will be treated like part of our family, being able to get on the sofas & even the bed if thats how they are used to sleeping.
