This was the second time Jennifer had watched Tucker. She was very attentive to him and communicated with us during his short stay while we attended a football game. I will definitely use her in the future. Thanks for being so sweet to Tucker!
Thanks to Jen for taking such good care of our boy Tucker. He is a senior and can be challenging since he is deaf and mostly blind. She kept us posted on how he was doing and was very sweet and attentive to him. Definitely would recommend Jen and we plan on using her in the future.
My pug Wyatt doesn’t even follow me to the door anymore when I take him to Jennifer’s. She is the absolute best pet care giver/ sitter I’ve ever had!! Wyatt loves to spend time with her and I always feel so reassured when he’s with her. I love that she sends me pictures too ♥️
Basically 24/7 Snuggle Time
Hello! I was a dog mom to three special fur babies for almost 17 years, but since November 2016 I've been sans pups, and frankly, it's just weird. And way too quiet, lol. I'm home most of the time, so your little fur ball will have LOTS of relaxed snuggle time and very little chance to feel lonely or anxious. I will love them like they're my own!
My dog-sitting style comes from the things ...
What Jennifer would like to know about your dog
I do best with small or mid-size dogs, though I fall in love with just about all of them, lol. I would want them to be friendly to at least humans (me!) and hopefully other dogs, though I usually would only have one dog at a time (or several from the same family), and I can also separate them if it's ever needed. I pay a lot of attention to the subtle signals dogs give to tell if they are happy or if something is making them anxious.
Lots of happy snuggle love is always the goal! It would be pretty challenging to hear dogs yipping a ton, but every dog and situation is different and I would want to get to know your dog's likes/dislikes/habits and ideally any, err, "behavioral modification strategies" (ie: tricks!) that usually work with YOUR pup (most of the time at least, lol). Like I said, I've been there!
On a serious note, I would want to know about any health issues your dog has and how you would like to handle any emergiencies that may arise. I've had lots of experience caring for my own aging dogs with a few health problems, so not much phases me. But if you're a regular client, all of this just pretty much becomes "Anything new? Ok, have a great time!"
