Pet care experience
Growing up we were a foster home for Protectors of Animals and Connecticut Animal Welfare League. I have cared for animals my entire life. I worked with a friend of mine that had a dog grooming business bathing and prepping her clients. I personally have 4 cats (rescued a pregnant stray that was living under my deck one winter). I have also taken care of family member's and friend's pets.

Jennifer did an awesome job taking care of my 3 furry kids. She sent pictures and played with them. Gave medicine to one without any problems. She also went above and beyond if I wanted her to drop in when she was near my home. Great sitter and I will use her services again next month ?

Jen is AMAZING with our 6 pound yorkie named Taser. Taser is always so excited when we tell him that he’s going to see her. Jen has helped us with short visits, walks, check ins, overnights, Taser has even come home bathed! We are so grateful to have such a dedicated pet sitter so close by. If you aren’t using Jen for your fur babies, you’re missing out!

I have a gated deck out of my back door as a backup for security. I will personally leash and walk your dog. I have a three rail fence but it does not have wire so it is not secure for a loose dog. I have the ability to gate off various rooms in my house if needed. I also have a crate so if your dog feels more comfortable in his or her own secure space we can do that as well. My cats don't mind dogs, they have been around them, generally they just disappear into different rooms. I do ask that your pet be healthy and free from fleas or ticks when you drop them off. My cats are all indoor kitties.

A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood for dog walks. I'm happy to have any of your dogs favorite beds or blankets and definitely their toys. Often something that has your scent on it can offer them comfort while they are away from their own home.

I own a seasonal business so I am off for the winter. During my work season, I work from home and can make my own schedule within reason.
