I have 4 dogs and 1 cat and love ALL animals. I have been called an "animal whisperer" by friends and family because I am great with all animals and they tend to be very responsive to my energy for some reason! I am extremely attentive and compassionate and would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members! I know from experience how horrific boarding at a kennel can be (both for pets AND their owners!). In order to reduce stress on your pets- who are already stressed from missing you terribly!- it is best to keep them in a familiar environment with a loving caretaker and I am here to ensure that transition is as seamless as possible! I typically like to meet with my clients/their owners prior to their departure to make sure I'm well acclimated with both and have a clear understanding of your pet's personality and needs. I always go above and beyond and am more than happy to send you pictures/videos of your fur baby to ease the pain of being away from them. I have TONS of experience pet sitting/walking and am smart, dependable, honest and caring. If this sounds like a good match for your pet, please let me know so we can set up a preliminary meeting. Jennifer is an amazing dog sitter. She always pays so much attention to my little pooch. I can always depend on her to walk my dog multiple times a day, even though I only walk her once! When I come home, my dog is happy to see me (of course), but I can tell that she has been well loved and feels secure in my absence, as she exhibits absolutely no anxiety. Previously, when I would have neighbors watch my dog, I would come home from vacation to find her a wreck, having lost weight because she would not eat. She would follow me around endlessly for days, making it apparent that she was very upset. Once I started using Jenny. she is happy as can be when I get home. Also, one day before I was about to leave for 2 weeks, I discovered THAT MORNING that my dog had a ruptured anal gland. This required her to wear a cone, take medicine and have a nameless tube inserted in a very uncomfortable spot 2x a day. I felt very bad asking Jenny to do this, but she saw to my dog's medical needs as well without complaint. It was kind of unfair to put the extra burden on her (I had no choice it was so last minute), but she understood and took the responsibility very seriously, ensuring that my dog was healthy and well by the time I got home. I could not replace her, she is the worlds best dog sitter in my opinion.

A typical day
-I have standard questions I like to ask each owner before sitting so I can make sure you and your pup have the very best experience possible! (i.e. vet info, allergy info, favorite toy/treat, unique daily routines you share with your dog, favorite resting spot in your house, favorite outdoor play/walk areas, any phobias like thunder etc, ) -I like to engage pups with LOTS of walks/play- good for your dog to get outdoor stimulus (and good for me to walk a lot!) -I like be hands on with dogs and show them lots of affection! Some dogs enjoy cuddles, others only feel comfortable with a nice scratching under the chin, each dog has different ways/limits to how they show affection and I am great at reading them! -I like to talk to dogs. Not only does it make our time together more engaging, but I firmly believe dogs understand the intonation in the way we communicate. If you're excited you're dog will sense it from your tone and get psyched up too! -I love to send pics/videos to owners (unless they request otherwise). There's nothing better than having peace of mind that your dog is enjoying your time away as much as you- helps you relax on vacation! -I am happy to water plants/feed fish/pick up mail/ or do any other house sitting side tasks while caring for your pup!
