Hi Everyone, I’m Jenny! I own BeastMode K9 Training. We offer several customized training programs and private lessons. When we have space we offer boarding, drop ins in the James Island area and refresher courses for dogs that just need a little sharpening up! We have a very active and fun family, all dogs stay in our home and enjoy our daily routines as well as a fully fenced in back yard for romping and playtime with other compatible housemates. Beastmodek9 can be found on IG and FB @beastmodedogtraining where we post fun pics of our campers. More about me: A former vet tech & co-founder of the Charleston Working Dog Club. We have been training dogs for over 20 years and believe in making our puppy camp adventures fun! I love animals of all shapes and sizes and have experience training and working with pups of all temperaments and have always had a knack for making friends with even the most difficult dogs or cats. I think patience, happiness and a light-hearted demeanor are key. I live close to the islands and we enjoy the beach and water every chance we can get. Our pups and kids go everywhere with us, so your baby can have an active day full of doggie field trips and a little training or just snuggle on the couch and be pampered.

Jennifer was fantastic! We just needed to board one of our dogs for an evening because we were having a large party. She is a watch dog and barks for a few minutes at new people, so we thought it’d be less stressful for her to stay somewhere else as opposed to having new people constantly coming into her space. Jennifer lives down the road, which is partly how I was narrowing down my search. She is a dog trainer, so right from the beginning it was clear that Bella was in good hands. Jennifer even offered to pick up and drop off Bella, which was unexpired but ended up working out the best. I can tell that they were busy and must have done some playing, because Bella lounged on the couch all day after she returned home. I would definitely recommend Jennifer if you are looking for someone to care for your pet.
Jennifer was fantastic with my two high energy dogs, she was super reliable and sent me daily videos. She is great with dogs and I’d recommend her to anyone!
Jennifer absolutely helped me out during this period of time where I was sick. She was able to handle a last minute booking and made sure Draco was well taken care of.
Jenny is known as the dog whisperer! She not only loves each dog like it’s her own, she is an expert trainer for even the most stubborn of them. She’s full of energy and smiles! Kristin R.

We have a fenced in yard and all dogs are crates at night and during feeding time so that can feel relaxed and secure at these times. When we go on excursions, dogs always ride in a crate in the car. Our customized leashes have two clasps. One for a training collar (if used) and one for their flat collar to ensure that we have a backup on walks, etc.

I’d like to know if the dog has any triggers that I should be aware of. Such as leash reactivity, etc. I’d also like to know things that makes he or she happy, like a favorite game, place to be sctratched, etc so that we can have the best time together!
A typical day
I’m a very active and fun sitter, so we will have lots of playtime and walks. We also have 3 kids and our own very active and social pets for them to play with. Upgrades are available for training or environmental exposure. We specialize in behavioral modification as well as problem solving and we are happy to do a free evaluation of your pup if you’d like services outside of boarding/pet sitting.

Availability
Training is my full time job so my schedule revolves around the pups! Our board and train campers go everywhere with us as we believe that learning with distractions helps to both socialize and build confidence.
