Hello all! My name is Jen, and I go to Peirce College for Paralegal Studies Bachelors degree. I have an Associates Degree from BCCC. I’ve taken care of guinea pigs, turtles, fish, hamsters, cats, and dogs throughout my life. My sister is also an animal enthusiast. I fostered 3 guinea pigs in the past with my sister and we have our grandmother’s 11 year old Shih tzu, Maddy. I’m open to any sized dog, and any type of pet. I’m also very open to pet sitting for multiple pets and different types of pets during 1 visit. I look forward to pet sitting. I have been pet sitting since July 2020 and I have enjoyed it so much! Meet and Greets are preferred, but not mandatory. I look forward to working with you! I also have all my clearances for children too I used to work at the YMCA in New Hope.

My sensitive soul Riley appeared a little sad this week ! she clearly missed Jennifer after all the fun she had while we were away. Jennifer is the best care giver - I was able to relax and enjoy my much needed family time.💕🐶
Jennifer was great. Excellent communication and our puppy was happy when we returned from an overnight trip. Will be using Jennifer again.
Jen was so wonderful with our dog Ronnie!! Ronnie is very anxious but seemed so happy and calm when we got home. Jen took extra time to make sure Ronnie ate (she sometimes doesn’t eat when we are gone/when she’s anxious) and was careful to keep Ronnie cool and hydrated during this heat wave!! We will definitely be requesting Jen again :)
Jen was wonderful with our dog, Dakota! She made us feel very comfortable during our time away. Dakota trusted her right off the bat. Jen took good care of our home as well. She is very considerate and clearly loves her job caring for animals. We plan to hire Jen again soon and highly recommend her to others!

I usually care for the pets in their own home and follow the owner’s instructions via an instruction manual that the client has already made up for me including wifi/relevant logins. Take nice walks, follow the feeding routine, etc. Anything else that the owner thinks is relevant is also mentioned during the meet and greet.

I would like to know if it has a tendency to chew when upset because I do wear glasses & I lost a pair that way due to a former client. I would also like to know if they are on medication (I don’t know how to inject medication like insulin but can administer meds like tablets.)
A typical day
Wake up with the dog(s)/pets, feed them, exercise with them by going on a walk or backyard if they don’t go before breakfast, entertain them, walks in between, feed them for the night, and then they curl up with me to get ready for bed.

Availability
This is a full time job for me to enjoy the time and company with your furry friends. My dog passed away in September and I haven’t been able to get a new pet yet.
