*Important note: I have a medium sized dog who sometimes accompanies me on overnight stays. He is dog and cat friendly. Let me know if that is not your preference! :) My name is Jennifer! I am a retired specialty veterinary technician with over 20 years active experience! I am now a full time nursing student and I am SO excited to offer service to your furry (or feathered/scaley!) family. Veterinary practice management, veterinary E.R. experience, specialty hospital as well as shelter care, fostering, pet sitting and client education make for a well rounded, compassionate individual who can manage all aspects of client needs. I am extremely patient, CPR and first aid qualified, Fear Free Certified,energetic and always understanding of pet parent concerns because I share them as well! From pediatric to geriatric, special needs or behavioral, I have the experience, medical and behavioral skills and love necessary to serve your pet needs best when you are away. I respect pet parents and their beloved family members. Your requests and home will be honored, as well as your pet. We were so pleased with Jennifer’s care for our cat. Our cat is always happy when we get home from a long trip because he gets lots of love from Jennifer.
We have worked with Jennifer several times, and she continues to be our favorite, most trusted person to watch the pets.
Jennifer watched our dogs for two weeks and as usual took amazingly good care of them and provided us with frequent updates on how they were doing. We always know they are in good hands. She’s the best!!
Jennifer was great with Kuttu! She was very understanding of our concerns and requirements as pawrents, and gave us the reassurance we needed to leave him at home. Kuttu is a shy cat, and is generally wary of strangers. However, Jennifer caught his attention instantly and he scurried over to her to investigate. He seemed to be comfortable around her and was chilled out enough to eat and groom himself in her presence. We are definitely planning to seek Jennifer's help with Kuttu the next time we have to travel. Thank you for your wonderful care Jennifer!

(Not a disqualification--its just good info to know before we meet) No breed restrictions! I love them all.

Holy moly I love all cats! You got cats? Gimme! ;) In all seriousness, while Rover doesn't advertise this important feature super well it is important to share that I know how to make kitties happy and enriched while you're away. And for my doggies: I'm an energetic, attentive healthy person who loves activity and have the energy to share! Wanna walk? Let's walk! Wanna tear around a dog park? Heck yeah friend, let's do it! For doggos that are reactive or prefer one on one time better, I will tailor the experience to match their preference whether that be tossing the ball in the comfort of your backyard or settling into cuddles on the couch together. It's about what makes your baby most comfortable!

I am a full time student who has a fairly flexible schedule, with most classes between the hours of 9am and noon, Monday through Thursday. I do not currently work other than this ap.
