Dogs bring endless amounts of joy, as I'm sure you already know! I could be in a terrible mood but will turn a 180 after petting a dog I see on the street. I've been taking care of dogs since 8 years ago when my family got our first pug. Since then, I've walked and watched my neighbors' and friends' dogs of all different kinds (labs, dachshunds, pit bulls, puggles, beagles, rottweilers, etc.) between ages 2 months to 10 years old. I love taking dogs for long walks through the parks and giving them lots of love, pets, and treats. I'm responsible, friendly, reliable, and good with communication. I look forward to caring for your pup while you're away!

Jennie is always our go-to sitter for our 5 year old beagle, Nel. She has watched Nel both at our home and hers, and is always super communicative, responsible, and loving with her. It is so obvious that Jennie loves dogs and treats them all as if they were her own. Nel requires daily medication with her food, which Jennie always handles with ease. She sends a ton of pictures, too. I can't recommend Jennie enough for all of your dog care needs!
Jennie has taken care of 2 of our dogs, a pug and a labrador. Jen is a gentle soul with a true love for animals and delights in being with them. Our dogs clearly adore her too! Jennie takes them on routine walks but has also taken the lab for a run and to the nearby beach. This is great if your dog needs a bit more exercise. Jennie is extremely responsible, dependable and returns texts, emails and voicemails promptly. I would recommend her in a heartbeat if you need a dog walker or sitter!

I live in a house with a backyard that has plenty of room for playtime and zoomies. The backyard is fenced in but has two open doorways so I can keep the dogs on a leash or put up barricades at the two entrances. I live with one roommate who also loves dogs and is verified on Wag. We have no pets or children of our own.

A typical day
We'll play lots of games (fetch, tug-o-war, etc) and go for long walks. We can go to dog parks or the park near my house. If allowed in your house, we can snuggle up on the couch together.

I'm currently in between jobs so I can be available just about whenever - during the week and on weekends. The more notice I have ahead of time the better but feel free to reach out 1 day prior if you're in a bind.
