Hello I’m Jennie! When it comes to caring for your pet, rest assured I have lots of experience with animals of all kinds. I have watched my neighbor’s dogs since I was five years old (Golden Retriever and Yorkshire Terrier) and our family also had our own dog, a Vizsla. I absolutely love dogs and most the time ask to pet ones that I walk by. I also have experience with birds, cats, hedgehogs, snakes, and other animals. I currently have a Yellow Lab named Nala and a Pitbull named Stella! They never fail to make my day better! I will happily walk your dogs, feed them, play with them, and care for them. I look forward to working with your four legged friends!

Jennie was absolutely wonderful. She came to my house to meet me and my dog before coming to take care of her for the first time. I could tell from that meeting that Jennie was very good with dogs and knew how to slowly earn their trust and affection. She was extremely accommodating, and sent updates, pictures and videos to me during her stay. She had no issues giving her her medication when needed. I would highly recommend Jennie to others and will definitely have her take care of my dog again if needed.
Jennie is awesome. She came to meet us before walking our dogs, communicated with me the entire time, and our dogs had a great time. And she took very cute pictures. Will certainly book with her again!

This was my very first time using Rover and also my first time having a non-family member/friend watch my house and my 11 y/o Chihuahua (who also has a heart condition and requires meds every 12 hrs.). I was so thrilled with Jennie that I am using her again this week while away again for work. She came and met with Diesel and I prior to her staying here. She was GREAT! Not only was she sending me updates and pictures daily, but I came home to printed out fun photos of their time together along with a hand written letter. She left my house spotless and went above and beyond. I have recommended her to my family and friends and will continue to have her watch Diesel and my house in the future. Thanks so much Jennie! At home I have a fenced in back yard and we love to play fetch in the house and outside! I also like to bribe my dogs with treats to take cute photos of them! I also love giving belly rubs out to those dog friends who want them!

A typical day
I love to gain the dog’s trust by letting them sniff my hands before playing with them. I have two of my own dogs so I’m sure they’re wondering where I’ve been! Once I feel like they’ve warmed up to me and they feel safe I like to play in the house or the backyard. We might play fetch with some toys or play tug of war! I am a huge fan of taking photos! I will always send the client photos of their family members unless otherwise specified. I typically like to take walks in the customer’s neighborhood as long as it’s a safe area to walk in!

Availability
I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available during the week as well as on weekends! I do ask if you need your furry friend taken out on a weekend to request a few days ahead of time. I try to update the Rover calendar as often as possible, but just in case it’s not updated or something happens I like to know ahead of time! Thank you!
