I am a patient, skilled care-taker.

Pet care experience

I'm ready for anything when it comes to animals! I'm experienced in handling dogs of all sizes/behavior types, and always enjoy a good challenge. Whether your dog is a timid little guy in need of some confidence building, an 80 pound slobbering lap dog who just can't contain her excitement (and could use a little leash training), or a fearful, guarded soul in need of extra patience to build a trusting relationship, I'm your guy! I've worked for my family's Dog Rescue (TracysDogs) since it began in 2011, worked at the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley for 2 years, and have been pet sitting/loving for as long as I can remember. Through my work with animals, I've gained hands on experience in basic dog handling, dog behavior, and medical treatment. I understand that not every dog is going to be my best buddy right off the bat, and I am always willing to work with your pet's fears and struggles until we are comfortable with each other. I especially enjoy working with dogs who hide their fear behind aggression. I usually can break down their wall and find their soft side :) I know what it's like to have a pet who's afraid of strangers, so I'm here to help! It's important to me to build a relationship with each of my clients. I have 2 other part time jobs, (working at a snack bar with my fiancé, and cleaning houses) but I have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to spend plenty of one-on-one time with your dog. My Partner, Krystle, who lives with me will usually be helping me love your pet while your gone. She's another crazy-dog-lover like myself, and although I take all responsibility for caring for your pet, I know Krystle won't be able to help herself! We're always ready to make a new furry friend :)

Jenna was amazing! My dogs loved stay with her, she was even so nice to refund me back money for the day we ended up not using after all. I would recommend Jenna to anyone looking for dog care.

My fur kids had a great time with Jenna! I was a little worried about leaving them at first (this was there first time having someone come stay with them while I was away) but Jenna's photos and videos assured me they were having a great time! Thanks, Jenna!

Jenna was so sweet to sit for my dog on last minute notice. Major enjoyed his time with her and we enjoyed the opportunity to go siteseeing knowing that he was comfortable and well cared for.

Jenna was fantastic with Riley! She took her out for lots of exercise and played with her a ton. Riley was excited to see me when I picked her up but she didn't want to leave Jenna's!

Information Jenna W. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know of any behavioral issues or special needs, as well as their energy level and personality type. It's not a necessity, but it would help me come prepared to give the best care possible! If your dog needs daily medical care, i am willing to give that kind of care during a visit. Also, if you have a giant breed dog (over about 100 lbs) I will need to know his or her energy level to make sure I can safely handle your baby. The energy level of your giant breed will determine whether it's something I can take on or not. (I am a skilled and strong dog handler, but I am petite and do have safe limits!) I also have to kitties at home, who can be kept in their back room if need be. So no worries if your dog is a cat-eater! I've also had plenty experience caring for multiple animals at a time who just can not get along.

A typical day

My time with your dog will be spent doing activities taylored to his or her specific needs, preferences and energy level. If your dog has a favorite place to walk or play, or a favorite activity, let me know! If your dog is working on potty training, we can take frequent walks. If you have a high energy dog in need of a lot of stimulation, we can go for runs, play high energy games outdoors, and use mind-stimulating toys and activities to keep him/her busy and happy. If you have a senior dog, a dog with special health needs, or just a lazy home-body, we can spend most of our time cuddling/resting and keeping busy at a lower energy level. I also love giving doggy-massages, if that is something they would enjoy!
