We have two labs: one is lazy and a bit older, but very lovable; the other is younger, and also lovable, but much more energetic! We live in a house with a fenced in backyard that the dogs are allowed to run in, and dig in some places. We walk our dogs at least twice per day because a tired dog is a happy dog, in general. We also play fetch with our younger dog in the back yard. The older dog likes to sit in the shade. I have fostered shelter dogs, walked shelter dogs, helped with medical issues, and have taken care of my own dogs for years. I only use positive reinforcement training techniques on shelter dogs or my own dogs. I'd love to help take care of your dog!
