Pet care experience
I will love and care for your dog as if he/she is my own. I absolutely love all breeds. I have my own Golden Retriever, Finny, and would love to incorporate him into my jobs here as well, as long as the owner and the dog are in agreement, of course! I have had a dog my whole life (3 Goldens, to be exact) and cared for them as the primary care-taker, so I have experience with all sorts of doggo-issues! This includes administering medication, training, crating, and special needs. I live in Weehawken, NJ in a pet-friendly neighborhood with grassy/sandy areas and a dog park around the corner. I often take my dog for walks along the waterfront, into Hoboken or north into Edgewater. During your pet’s care, I’ll keep you up to date on them with photos and videos. I can do a wide range of care-taking, like walks, dog parks, runs, etc. I'm a teacher and am available when many business-workers are unavailable. I am free all summer at all hours.

Jenna is perhaps the most caring pet sitter I have ever used. She truly loves dogs and is the closest person I know to being a dog whisperer. She has cared for all of my dogs during their various ages and has a superb understanding of each of their needs. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter, walker etc.

I don’t have any breed preferences as I love all dogs! I do like to know if your pup is fixed, current on their shots and how well they interact with other people and dogs so that I can best accommodate their daily routine. Questions I like to ask new clients are whether their dog has any health issues I should know about, especially since I have a dog of my own. I'd like to know if they have any fear triggers ie: loud noises, transit buses, other dogs. It's also good to know the dog's basic training and ability to follow commands, and what those commands may be specifically. In addition, I'd love to know the following: • Favorite activities • Likes/dislikes • Daily routine and feeding schedule • Walking style (side preference, leash preference) Any anything else you’d like to tell me I’d love to know!
