Pet care experience
My childhood household was a family of cat lovers and having two of them in our home turned me into the animal lover I am today - even sparking my interest in volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society for a couple of years in high school! Now a recent college graduate without any pets of my own, I've missed being near animals and giving them all the love I have to give. It would make me incredibly happy to care for your small, fuzzy family members! If allowed, I'll even try to take some lovely photos to share with you or a selfie with your pet for the mems! I have more experience caring for cats but am open to dog walking and drop-in visits as well, as that was my main task when volunteering at the humane society!

I'm quiet, gentle, and slow if a pet is timid to new people in their home - I understand it can take time to warm up! I'm happy to give them their space when necessary and to just be a quiet presence. I'm also always happy to provide prior meet up's if you'd like to meet in person before a booking - just let me know!

Let me know if there’s anything in advance I’d need to know about the pet beforehand, so I can make the right calls, and I'll do the same back. As long as we communicate, there shouldn’t be any problems on either end!
A typical day
A typical visit for dogs, depending on the needs, could look like some playtime outside, either on a walk or in the backyard, and some cuddles afterward! Cats are typically more easygoing and I'm happy to play with any of their favorite toys or even love some good lap time on the couch. I'm happy to feed pets, refresh water bowls, and clean up boxes if needed as well. Anything you think your pet would like to do, I'm game!

Availability
As a recent college graduate, I’m currently on the search for a full-time job and might have obligations centered toward my job hunt that I can’t reschedule. If I've already booked a visit with you and something comes up, I'll let you know of my availability as soon as I can so you can make the decision that is best for your family. Until then, I’m pretty open to most hours of the day but will let you know immediately if a specific time doesn’t work out for me! Also, if you're looking to book anything over a month away, I won't always know what my schedule will look like and will let you know that, though we can always chat about flexibility!
