Animal Care has always been a huge passion of mine. Over time, I've volunteered at the Oakland Zoo, Fat Kitty City, and The Grace Foundation of Northern California. I'm especially fond of working with rescue dogs. I grew up with Australian shepherds and pugs, and now have two cats of my own. I worked at Pet Food Express for two years, where I learned a lot about canine and feline behavior and nutrition. I've also worked as a cat caretaker and adoption counselor for at-risk felines at Cat Town Cafe & Adoption Center. More recently, I was a dog handler at Happy Hound Play & Daycare. I am currently working as a veterinary technician at a veterinary hospital in Rancho Cordova. I have experience medicating dogs and cats and socializing shy pets. I'm currently going to Carrington College to get my degree in Veterinary Technology. I have references for walking and pet sitting if you'd like to hear more!
