I am currently a bather at Petsmart, working towards becoming a groomer. My whole life I have loved animals and always imagined working somewhat in this field. I just moved back to Maine from Alaska at the end of 2023, and I'm finally heading in the direction to build a career. I grew up always having a dog in the home, and I currently have two dogs and two cats. A few years back me and my sister used rover and boarded a few dogs, as well as fostered and found a home for a beautiful black lab and we absolutely loved it.. I had no transportation at the time and I was always home so it seemed like the right thing. I'll be honest and say being a bather does not pay well, so I was in need of a second job. With the hours I work and my availability I feel this is the best option for me. I now have my own means of transportation and am able to offer more services through this app. As I said, I was in sight of a new job and with the weather getting nicer I believe walking dogs is perfect!! It allows me to get out and enjoy it as well as get my steps in and it gets your pup up and out of the house as well. I can also do drop in visits for cats and dogs. Due to my living situation I will not have boarding as a service this time but I may be able to make exceptions depending on the dog and duration of the stay. I love all dogs no matter the size or breed and any animal left in my care will be well taken care of and treated as if they were my own. {P.S I am also willing to offer nail trims for dogs, as I know that can be difficult to do on your own most times} feel free to ask any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them.
