Pet care experience
Why should you feel safe leaving your pup with me? Hello! My name is Jenna. I have wanted a dog my entire life. When I left for college, I thought I would get a dog right away, but decided to wait until I started graduate school. I did my research. I made sure I was stable financially to provide for myself, my dog, and pay for school. Nearly two years ago, I got my first dog and that was the best decision of my life. I remember when I found out his due date. I remember stalking his Facebook page, patiently waiting for his birth announcement. I remember refreshing the page until I saw his first photo and then noting the exact time of his birth. I remember requesting photo after photo of him so I could see him on a weekly basis. I remember booking my hotel stay in advance. I remember carefully planning the route that would lead me to him. I remember being so excited, the 12-hour drive felt like nothing. I remember feeling so nervous, scared, and excited as I pulled up to his house. I remember walking through the house and into the kitchen. I remember waiting in great anticipation as they went into the next room and when they came back, they placed the most perfect bundle of fur into my waiting arms. I remember feeling like nothing could ever top this moment. It was in that moment I felt such an abundance of love so fierce as if I had personally given birth to him myself. I remember our first night together. It was so surreal to me (that is, until he cried the entire night and I thought to myself, good Lord, what have I gotten myself into??) Fast forward to three and a half years later. These past three and a half years have been the most joyful, the most stressful, and yet, the most rewarding three and a half years of my life. Together, we have combatted the terrors of graduate level classes; the banishment/decree that he was not allowed to step foot in his grandparents' home (thankfully that decree did not last THAT long); hurricanes, blizzards, and thunderstorms; the dreadful baths; sleep training; potty training; teething; my fears that his ears would not go up and that his man parts would not drop. Along with those terrors come many thanks. I am so thankful for Pal for reminding me to take breaks. He has been my main form of self-care and continues to teach me about the meaning of unconditional love. MORE INFO: I have a five-year-old GSD who has been with me since 7.5-weeks-old. I usually take Pal on hikes or some kind of event on the weekends.
Reviews
Jenna is awesome! I will be using her anytime I need a dog sitter, walker, etc. Anytime I send her a message she responds immediately, shows up early, gives details reports :) I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Jenna is wonderful! She is always super responsive and prompt.
Jenna was great, my dog Nugget loved her! She played with him, walked him, and made such a good impression that after she left Nugget was running around the house looking for her. Will be booking her in future.
Winston looked so happy to see you ! Thanks so much for the detailed activity. My worries were alleviated when I read his report card and saw his picture :)

I have a five-year-old GSD. He is dog selective so he would need to be part of the meet and greet if your dog (s) are staying with us at our home. We have plenty of toys and dogs are allowed on the couch (only piece of furniture they are allowed on). Pal likes to spend his time on the patio and it is padded and in the shade to protect from heat.

A typical day
I believe that a tired dog is a happy dog, and that refers to both physical and mental stimulation. Some of the activities I like to do with my dog include: -Training/Reinforcement -Hiking/Trailing -Walks -Farmer's Market -Runs -Fetch -Tug -Snuggles -Coffee Shop/Brewery Studying If you decide to leave your furbaby in my care, I am more than willing to incorporate some of the activities you do with them yourself!
