Pet care experience
Hi I’m Jenna! I love hiking and spending time outdoors. I am an experienced (lifetime) dog owner, caretaker and trainer. I grew up with Great Danes and have experience with giant breeds. I attended several seminars and conferences focusing on positive reinforcement and behavior modification. I also worked as a Vet Assistant for five years. Derek is a huge animal lover as well! If you have cats or dogs at home he would love to check up on them and give them lots of affection. He grew up with dogs and adopted a cat of his own when he went off to college.

We are so grateful to have found Jenna and Derek to watch our 11 month old pup, Enso! Such a relief to be able to leave him in their care and know that he will get in plenty of walks as well as play time with Capella and any other guests and they even reinforced our training lessons! They were great about setting all the dogs up for success starting with the initial greeting. We just picked him up from his first weekend and are ready to book the next one!
Derek is quick to respond, and great with our giant malamutes!
This was our dogs’ first stay with Jenna and Derek and they had a ball! We’re not just taking Jenna and Derek’s word for it, though— they sent us multiple photos every day, showing the dogs running and playing and having a wonderful time. The photos were some of the best we’ve ever had taken, and I think we may be framing some of them!

A typical day
We have lots of toys and beds inside for them to enjoy. They can play in the yard together and relax on the outdoor loungers. We love our daily walks around the neighborhood and local park (one hour minimum).

Availability
We are home full time to entertain your dog with exercise, play and lots of love. Our friendly dogs spend most of their time indoors. They may go in and out all day as they please - can hang out with us inside on our big fluffy rug and multiple dog beds or explore the yard together!
