Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong dog lover who is happiest when surrounded by animals. My family has always had two dogs and I can’t imagine life without them. I look forward to the day when I can have my own dogs, but in the meantime, I’d love to take care of other people’s dogs and treat them as my own. I love spending time outdoors - at the beach or hiking - and I’m looking for four-legged companions to join me! I feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and have experience taking care of dogs for a week at a time. I work a 9-5 job during the week, but am open to overnight stays during the week and weekends. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pet, hopefully soon!

My husband and I highly recommend Jenna for any dog owner who is looking for adoration and care of their pet. She is the most responsible young adult we know and is passionate about dogs. You can trust Jenna in every way and she will never let you down. She loves walking and petting dogs especially and has taken care of our Australian Shepherd several times or visited often. We cannot say enough about the quality of caregiving Jenna will give to those pets who mean so much to their owners. She will be diligent and trustworthy to house-sit as well should the pet owners have to leave town.
We were fortunate to have Jenna L. pet sit and house sit for over a week while we were on vacation. Jenna L. provided tender loving care for our 7 year-old Golden Retriever, Drake and 3 year-old cat, Hijinx. She kept Drake on his regular routine, feeding him at specific times twice a day, and taking him on daily A.M. & P.M. walks. Hijinx is an indoor/outdoor cat and Jenna L. was extremely responsible noting his comings and goings along with providing him 'on demand' feeding. She was a great companion to both pets in our absence. Jenna L. also kept our home in Orinda, CA secure and perfectly maintained while we were away. We returned home to happy animals, a beautifully thriving garden, and a clean home.

I do not have a breed preference but I do have more experience with goldens and aussies. I love all dogs though, big or small.
A typical day
I love going for walks and would be so excited to bring a dog with me on something I already love doing! Walks to the various parks around Santa Barbara as well as the beach - and lots of cuddles when we get home.

Availability
I work full time but am available to stay overnight with your pets and can be home with them from late afternoons to early mornings during the week, and all day on weekends.
