Pet care experience
Fully vaccinated! I grew up having dogs as pets, and I can't remember a time in my life that I haven't had at least one (I have two now). I spent two years working at a pet-hotel for dogs, so I am comfortable with properly handling all dogs, cats, and other pets, including medications, as well as other information/directions for house sitting, including plants. I currently regularly dog sit for three family friends, but I love being able to meet new pets! I’m the type that will definitely spend extra time getting to know your pets and will go out of my way to make sure they are comfortable and happy, whether they are young and energetic or old and grumpy. I pride myself on communication and love sending photos of my clients to their owners!

I always take down notes and try to follow your same routine as closely as possible. Unfortunately my dogs don’t let me bring other pups to their house, so I can’t do any sitting at my place.

I'll have questions when I first meet a dog or cat about typical behavior, any sensitive spots like ears or feet, age, personality, allergies, interactions with other people or animals, schedules/routines, and diet.
A typical day
I'm happy to take dogs on walks during the stay and find that it's a great way to keep them happy while their owners are away. But if you'd rather they stay home while you’re gone, I'm happy to play tug-of-war and tag, to snuggle with them if they're not the most active, or to simply hang out just let them know someone is around to keep an eye out if they are more the shy type.

Availability
I work and go to school during the day, but I always schedule in a mid-day break so I can check in during the day if needed. Otherwise my evenings and weekends are usually totally open!
