Pet care experience
I understand how important a pet is to a family- I've grown up with multiple dogs all my life. When I care for a pet, their safety and happiness is my top priority. I mostly used to large breeds, but I have the passion and kindness to care for all the rest. My care for my own pet includes walking, running, medicating, feeding, and loving him. He is a rescue dog with some aggression issues towards other dogs, which we have managed by lots of visits to the dog park. As he's aged, his aggression has subsided. He's recently learned to swim on his own, even at 8 years old! While caring for him, I've learned a lot about respecting the needs and the routines that pets thrive in. I hope you will allow me to meet your pet and care for them in the same way that I've cared for my own.

I understand pets like structure in terms of routine and expectations, but I also like to let them be their own “person.” I respect their individuality, and I also respect that some owners may have more strict or less strict ways of training their pets than my own. For example, I let my dog on the couch and bed, but I know some owners may not allow their pets on the furniture. I accept that some owners may leave an entire book on instructions for their dog because I would honestly do the same! We all care so much for our pets and want to leave them in the hands of someone we can trust.

A typical day
I can run with your dog, walk, and play. I have my own dog who benefits from socializing with other dogs. We walk around the neighborhood or down to the park. I am also happy to take your dog to the dog park.

Availability
As a musician, my evenings are entail teaching, rehearsing, and gigging, but during the day my schedule is wide open with a lot of flexibility.
