Please let me know if you would like me to wear a mask during our meet and greet.* Having grown up with cats, I’ve got a knack for winning over even the shyest of felines. And since 2017, I’ve been lending a helping hand to pet owners, making sure they’re furry (and not so furry!) companions are happy and healthy while they are away. Whether it’s administering daily medication or engaging in playtime, I adapt my approach to suit each pet’s individual needs. I adopted my Dogo Argentino, Atticus, in 2015 from CHA Animal Shelter in Columbus. Despite being nearly 80 pounds, his favorite activity is to lounge on the sofa and watch squirrels and birds through the window. In October 2019, I rescued 3 kittens and fostered them through to January 2020. We ended up falling in love with one, and kept Scout as our own little girl! If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your pets like family, offering house sitting and drop-in visits that go above and beyond, I’m your gal. I work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, but may be able to accommodate a midday visit depending on location. On weekends, I am available throughout the day for potty breaks and can also accommodate overnight stays. For housesitting, I am unable to accommodate constant care requests due to my work schedule; however, I will be present from 5pm-8am on weekdays.

Jenna was the best with my dogs! She was extremely reliable and kept me up to date with pictures and messages. I have 2 pitbulls who can be a bit much at times, but I never felt uneasy about them being with her while I was out of town. They loved her and looked happy in every picture! I would recommend Jenna to anyone!
Rusty loves Jenna so much, we can always trust that Rusty will be taken care of while we’re gone!

I am very attentive to making sure that pets are secured and safe before opening any doors that lead to the outside. When on walks, I will make any accommodations necessary to ensure your pet’s safety. As the mom of a cat who is very sneaky, I pay extra attention when opening doors to the exterior of homes to ensure no one makes a runaway attempt.

How does your dog do walking on a leash? Please let me know if your pet takes any medication, and how often they take it. I have experience administering oral medication (pills/liquid) and injections to dogs, and can make sure to keep them on the same schedule. I would also like the know about your pet’s energy level, as well as where they like to sleep at night if I am staying over.
A typical day
If your dog loves lounging, I will be able to give them lots of cuddles and pets while you are away. If they enjoy exercise, I can talk them on daily walks around the neighborhood. I try to make things exciting and fun for the animals so that they are less lonely while you are away. If your kitty is shy, I am content to sit nearby on the floor and offer treats so that we can become friends; I’m also always down for a playtime session with a string or laser pointer!
