I can’t wait to meet your pets!
Pet care experience
I moved to Oregon in October, 2020. I love nature and animals. I will give your dog all the love, attention, and belly rubs they want. I'm very flexible, if you have any special requests for your dog, I can be accommodating. All types of dogs are welcome. You will be inviting me to care for a member of your family, and give the utmost care and attention to your dog. I intend to be a trusted caregiver and friend to your dog. So reach out to me and let’s plan a meet and greet! I’m happy to devote time to caring for dogs. I don’t have many distractions and I live in a very peaceful environment. I am available to your pets if they need extra attention and love. I have lots of free time to spend giving personal attention to your pet. I can take them for longer walks, if needed. I will try my best to make them comfortable and put them at ease.
Reviews
Jana was communicative and seemed good with our elderly standard poodle.
Jenna was super professional when we met up. Kirin warmed up to her instantly and Jenna gave updates when she could. Will definitely go back to her to watch Kirin in the future!! Highly recommend her.
Jenna was great and easy to work with and Nova had a great time!
This was my first time using Rover with my own dog. Jenna and I scheduled a meet and greet a few days before I was scheduled to drop my pup off. I showed up on time at her apartment per her request and tried calling Jenna. She didn't pick up through the app nor through the apartment directory and we ended up not meeting that day. It was a complete waste of time. I expressed my concern about being able to meetup the day of drop off and she assured me that she would be available and ready to watch my dog. Well, come 6:30 AM the day or drop off, Jenna did not respond, once again, and I had to stress out about who was going to watch my dog. I had to pretty much McGyver my way into the apartment building, but luckily a nice tenant understood the situation and was able to card key me up in the elevator so that I could drop off my dog. I knocked on the door and Jenna seemed bewildered as to the fact I had a reservation to drop off my dog at that time. With no other option at this point, I gave me dog to a a complete stranger and I almost missed my flight. A few days later when I picked up my puppy (5 months old), Jenna informed me that she chewed through her Wonder Walker harness that I just bought as well her leash. She has chewed through harness before that did not fit her, but for her to chew through a harness and a leash infers that she was not being watched and tied up. How does that happen, a leash? Jenna gave me a "military grade" leash in return for the leash that was chewed up. I had to pay for a new harness. I would not recommend Jenna for watching my dog ever again. Oh, and it said she didn't have a dog on Rover, but when I knocked on her apartment door there was another dog barking...

There are other dogs in my building, but it is usually easy to avoid them. There are grassy areas, and the 6th floor has a doggy area.

If your dog is strong and pulls a lot, this will not be a good fit. I am only prepared to handle dogs that are easy on walks. If your dog is loud, and barks and whines a lot, this is not a good fit. I need dogs that are quiet. If your dog has issues with aggression they may not be a good fit, as I don’t have experience handling aggressive or reactive dogs. I love gentle dogs. If your dog gets anxious and chews on things, then a crate is necessary. If they are prone to accidents, please inform me, have them walked first, and bring pads. If your dog has recent diarrhea issues, please do not book with me. I am not set up to clean up those kinds of messes. I want to keep my space nice.
A typical day
I spend lots of close time with the dogs. I stay home a lot. I have grassy spots outside I can take them to. I try to make a comfy little area for them to sleep, if the owner doesn’t bring a crate.
