Pet care experience
Hello folks! My name is Jenna and I’ve had dogs and cats for my entire life, taking on the caretaker responsibility starting around 12 years old. I have experience in feeding, walking, playing, bathing, pet sitting, and just generally showing affection to dogs and cats of all ages. In my personal life, I currently have three young adult cats and an older dog that I care for.

I can do drop-in visits to feed, play with, administer medication to, take potty, and any other drop-in needs you have, as well as for taking your babies out for walks. I will ensure that your pet is leashed anytime that we’re outdoors without a fenced in area, that the doors remain securely closed when we’re inside your home, and all of my attention will be on your pets. Making sure that they are safe, comfortable, and feel loved is my #1 priority. If possible, I’d love to be able to set up meet-ups before jumping right into services so that we can verify your pet(s) and I are a good match for each other! This also gives us a good opportunity to talk about anything you feel is important for me to know ahead of time.

I’d like to know what type of food they eat in case I need to pick any up and preferably an alternative option in case the store is out, as well as any dietary restrictions/allergies. Their vet contact information as well as any relevant medical information is invaluable. It’d also be nice to know about any common behavioral issues I may run into so that I can be as prepared as possible to manage it. Finally, if there are any specific routines that cannot be missed (i.e. best way to feed, where they like to potty, etc.)
A typical day
I love to figure out what a pet’s favorite toy is and how they like with play with it, spend time outside with them exploring new areas (or familiar area, if the pet/family has a preferred route), playing chase/tag/fetch/similar energy level games, and then of course giving and getting the best of furry snuggles. If there are any activities the parent recommends, then we’ll certainly add those to the schedule.

Availability
I’m available Monday-Friday after 4:30pm for drop-in visits and walks, as well as all day Saturday and Sunday. I’m also available Friday and Saturday nights for housesitting. If you’re interested in services outside of this time frame, feel free to reach out and see if we can work something out!
