Pet care experience
Hello there! I am a dedicated pet owner and experienced pet sitter. I have been working on the Rover app full time since February of 2021. I absolutely love it and am passionate about giving your babies the best experience! I have three wonderful pets, a 6 year old neutered male Eskimo mix, named Lennox. He’s very easy going and loves to play. I recently “foster failed” and am now the proud owner of an 80lb lab/pit mix named Joaquin. He was born on Feb 4th 2022 and has been raised doing rover full time so he is very friendly around all types of dogs and animals I also have a 16 year old kitty named Sophie who I’ve been caring for since birth! She is very easy going and I have set up the inside of my house to make sure she’s always comfortable and can be separate from the pups if needed. Although aggressive dogs, or dogs fearful or overly excited to be around cats will not be accepted for longer than a daycare request. I was raised around animals my whole life and have a passion caring for them. I know what to expect, including having baby gates, plenty of toys, patience as well as personal experience raising 2 really good dogs. My first dog brother was a Newfoundland as a kid and many friends throughout the years went for small breeds so I know the tendencies and know to take the necessary precautions. I am also willing to acclimate them to my presence anyway I can before the accommodation starts. I am personally very over protective and know the importance of having peace of mind, so I am happy to help in any way I can. I also want to stress that I offer cat boarding! Trying to evacuate with my own kitty was quite a struggle so I’m happy to help with feline companions!

Can not say enough good things about Jenna. She was attentive, kind, capable, and obviously loved our dogs like they were her own. We had a special needs dog and a puppy and they were in great hands. Tons of pics and videos throughout the stay. So thankful to have found such an amazing dog sitter.
Franklin stayed at Jenna’s for the day while we were out on the lake in Tahoe and he had a great time!
Jenna did a great job caring for our two puppies! We were able to celebrate our daughter’s engagement with friends and family without worrying about our pups being neglected or bored. She sent lots of videos throughout their stay showing them playing with her dogs and enjoying their stay, which put our minds at ease. She even gave them bathes before we picked them up, which was a special surprise we greatly appreciated!

I live in a smaller house so I’m able to keep a really good eye at all times, as well as fully fenced yard spaces to run, play and burn energy in the safety of my home! I am very understanding of over protective parents and will take the precautions necessary to ease your mind. For over night/ training purposes I have an extra large crate already here for any size.

Information Jenna A. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing I need to know is the extent of your dogs temperament particularly around cats. In my experience so far, puppy’s around a year, who have little exposer tend to do alright and mellow out quickly as they get used to my cats very chill vibe and she actually trains them that cats aren’t threatening. Though she has plenty of hiding spots and high hides for curious guests, keeping her safe and my two boys safe is my first priority. Any past undisclosed aggression toward any type of animal will not be tolerated. I can accommodate most dogs as long as I know important details and can acclimate my house or the booking accordingly. Unfortunately due to past clients not being fully transparent I have to be very clear about this and will take the proper action to ensure mine and other pets are safe in my care.
A typical day
There is pretty much everything within a few blocks including a grassy park, lake swimming access, as well as meadow and beach walks. I am an avid hiker as well and would love to show them around Tahoe, I was born and raised here so I am very familiar with which trails are optimal for certain dogs.

I am available full time, I hike a lot and work from home in a few different ways so that gives me the time to truly take this seriously and give puppers the proper Tahoe experience. * Can also negotiate the price for under 5 hours. And can remove puppy charge if potty trained and all that.
