Love to take nice long dog walks

I have cared for small canines and large canines alike since I was 13 years old. I’ve cared for pups belonging to my neighbors and friends and my own. I lost my Bernese Mountain Dog a little over 3 years ago and I frequently borrow my neighbors and friends’ canines to get my “fix!”

I care for each pet as though he was my own. They are allowed up on the sofa and bed because I love to snuggle with them. However, I abide by the rules set forth by the owner.

Information Jenn T. would like to know about your pet
I generally like to know whether the pup(s) is(are) comfortable walking on a leash, if they are people or other dog reactive (neither of which would prevent our walks, I just want to know so that I know whether I need to be on high alert in those situations). I also like to know whether the dog(s) has(have) can play with plush toys, countersurf, chew on electrical cords or have any other “naughty” behaviors which I should try to prevent.
A typical day
I love to take long walks either in my neighborhood or in a park. Generally between 3-5/day with each walk being between 30-45 mins. I also love to play tug and fetch with dogs who are into that. If the dog isn’t into that, then I love to snuggle and read or knit. I also love to give “lessons” or to review basic commands with the pups. Although I’m not a dog trainer and so do not want to hold myself out as an expert dog trainer.

I am currently not working so my availability is pretty well open. I had some health issues that I am still getting under control that sadly prevent me from practicing law currently.
