Pet care experience
I've loved dogs since I was young, and have been a proud dog owner the past 7. We have been lucky enough to foster and also get to babysit friends and families dogs along the way, and we love having the extra company! It's why I'm happy to help neighbours and those in our community with your doggy daycare and boarding needs. (And yes, I'm that person who has an IG account for my dog @tripbythebay :) so I'd be more than happy to send lots of pupdates/photos during your dogs stay)

I recently had the pleasure of having Jen as my dog sitter, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with her services. She provided an outstanding level of care and attention to my dog, Leia and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the beginning, it was evident that Jen was a true animal lover. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put both me and my dog at ease and I felt confident leaving Leia in her capable hands. What truly set Jen apart was her dedication to providing an engaging and stimulating environment for my dog. She took Leia on regular walks, engaged her in playtime, and provided plenty of mental stimulation. I could tell that my dog was happy and well-cared for during their time together. Communication was also exceptional throughout the entire process. Jen kept me updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, which gave me peace of mind knowing that my dog was in good hands. She was always responsive to any inquiries I had, and her open and transparent communication style was greatly appreciated. Additionally, I was impressed with the safe and comfortable environment that Jen provided for my dog. Her home was clean and well-suited to accommodate my pet's needs. Jenn was absolutely amazing with Frankie! She regularly sent us photo and video updates, and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our fur baby was in great hands. A bonus: Frankie made a new best friend in Trip! 🐶❤️
Jenn was amazing with our Frankie. She is a patient, responsive and confident dog handler, and her dog Trip is wonderful too! We will be leaving Frankie in Jenn's care for a full week next month, and we will rest easy knowing that she's being well cared for.

I'd love to know any behavioral factors that might impact your pups stay (I.e. leash skills, separation anxiety, etc). If your dog has any physical limitations or any allergies, those types of things would be important to know too. Thank you!
A typical day
There are lots of great places in the neighborhood to walk and take in new smells and experiences - especially by the bay and by the lake! Happy to spend some time playing with the dogs when I can, and will certainly help with training opportunities when they present themselves.

Availability
I run my own health & fitness business from my home, meaning I'm home most days of the week to take care of the pup(s). I can walk the dogs as needed, but can also let them into the backyard for zoomies and bathroom breaks between then. I do occasionally step into my garage (which is my gym) to work with clients, so would want to ensure your pup is OK with some minor separation (in the same building, but not in the same room). This may not be applicable to your stay as these sessions are limited and only certain days of the week. A meet and greet would be important and helpful to ensure our dogs get along for those times especially.
