Pet care experience
I have owned dogs most of my life, along with providing foster care for different types of dogs and cats. I live right next to a fantastic park and a dog park. I understand the love you have for your family member and how important it is to have the right person care for them. Every dog is different and I know that routine is very important. Knowing your own specific routine with your pup and following through with that is extremely important to me. I am a runner & hiker and would be more than happy to do either with your dog instead of just a walk. I have many years of experience with high energy dogs (owning two Australian Shepherds and previously fostering Border Collies & Golden Retrievers to be specific) and know how to handle and be patient with them, along with getting the energy out. My fiance does sometimes share in the care of the pets we watch, if needed. He is fantastic with all animals as well. We will treat your dog as my own family member!

Sif had the best time, got to go for a walk by the water and was stoked all while I was skiing. Would highly recommend in the tahoe area. Also helped me with some questions about the area.
I was very comfortable leaving Bruce our 12 wk old puppy with her during our vacation to Tahoe. She sent us pictures and updates of our puppy which gave us piece of mind that Bruce was enjoying his day with her, and that in returned allowed us to enjoy our day in Sand Harbor. She was very caring, and we felt that he was in very good hands!! When we go back, we will definitely ask her to watch over Bruce again. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to watch over the dog.

I have a fairly good-sized backyard with a 6-foot fence where I throw the frisbee & balls for my pups (and visiting pups), I also walk them when (in the morning or at night, or both if needed). Dogs are allowed on the furniture while we're home, but I like to have a bed on the floor for them to be comfortable on.

Availability
I do work during the day (8am-5pm), but I do come home during lunch hours to let our pups out. I am able to work from home if a dog needs special care (as well as bring dogs to my work with me). I'm available most weekends as well.
