Pet care experience
My family had always had dogs growing up, and I have lived my whole life caring for, loving, and training our family’s dogs. Over a year ago I got my own dog after moving downtown, and that passion has only gotten stronger! I have always been someone who has been anxious leaving my own dog when going out of town, and I joined Rover so I can provide that assurance and comfort care that I know I want for myself when I am leaving my dog with a sitter. My dog is friendly, highly energetic, and loves the company of others. I am comfortable with all breeds of dog and also very comfortable with any training or enrichment needs your dog might have. I would love to watch your dogs to give myself and my own dog a pal to hang out with, exercise with, and love on while making sure your dog is safe and loved while you are away.

Jenn is so sweet and did such a good job with my dog Peter! She followed all of his care instructions and made sure to check in throughout the day. It was a huge relief to know Peter was in good hands while I was away. I definitely recommend booking with her!

I live in a quieter neighborhood close to downtown with a fenced in yard and backyard grass area. Aside from being able to easily go outside with the dogs for a break, I am also very conscientious about providing exercise/enrichment through the day. We have a few parks and grassy areas very close by to walk to for potty/sniff breaks, so the grass is easily accessible outside of my yard for a change in scenery! My dog is a high energy dog, and he will also love the company and play of another dog, and would love another walking buddy. He easily makes friends and should make your pup feel at ease in the new environment. I have a plenty of space in my house with multiple bedrooms and a large living area, giving the dogs space to play or take time alone if needed. I have a crate available if needed for the dog when I am not home/at night, but I also happily let my own dog free and to sleep in my bed if your dog wants the same. Your dog will feel very safe and comfortable in my home. Whenever I am not home, I typically separate all dogs into different rooms for best safety, unless there is a reason not to!

Let me know any specific needs or behavioral tendencies your dog might have. I have experiences dealing with nervous and reactive dogs, and am equipped to handle those situations and keep your dog as comfortable and safe as possible. Also like I said - I love to work on training so please let me know what commands your dog knows or is working on and I can continue that with them! Let me know if your dog has any aggression at all, reactivity I need to look out for, or any resource guarding so I can be informed and provide the safest environment for them and my own dog!
A typical day
My own dog is high energy, so each day consists of something new - and I am able to provide and tailor to what your dogs needs! I love to take dogs on exciting/busy walks or peaceful/relaxing decompression walks in parks nearby or along the cincy riverfront- whatever suits them best. I have a pretty high emphasis on training and behavior to stimulate dogs mentally, so training is something I always incorporate into walks and time at home. I love driving to Bellevue, Eden, and Ault park nearby as well for good quieter environments for dogs to walk with a longer leash/more freedom to sniff.

I work from home full time so am able to provide care and attention fully throughout the day. I luckily have a pretty flexible work schedule and am able to take breaks whenever needed to take the dogs out, for exercise, or just breaks to play in my fenced backyard.
