I have been taking care of dogs for my family and friends for many years, both having them stay in my townhouse with me, and also staying at their houses. I have experience with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and all dogs get just as much love from me, as if they were my own (a dachshund). I am a teacher, so during the school year I am at work much of the day, but during the summer I do not work, and have much more free time at home. In my house, I have my dachshund, and I also have a cat. They are both used to being around other dogs, so that is not a problem. I own the townhouse where I live, and I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to go outside, and also a nice quiet neighborhood for walks. I also live close to a couple of large parka, which are dog friendly, so I like to walk in those places, as well. As for sitting overnight in other houses, my family is more than happy to have my dog overnight so that I am free to come and stay with yours! I am happy to walk dogs, clean up after them, and also administer medications as needed. I am a clean and responsible non-smoker, and I also have references available upon request.
