Hello! My Husband and I are dog lovers; we adore our very active doberman, Lincoln. And, we know very well that a thoroughly exercised dog makes a happy dog (and happy dog-parents!) That is why boarding with us will be a great fit if you have an active pup! We have a half acre fenced in yard ideal for running and fetch and we take walks and jogs on the trails and through the golf course neighborhood. Not an athlete? That is fine too; we're happy to accommodate your dog's lifestyle whether it is turbo charged or more of an "I like to lay on the patio" kind of day (we all have those... :o) We have two small children who also love dogs. While we teach them to take cues from the dog to understand when he doesn’t want to play and we are respectful of their space while eating, your dog must be very good with children to board with us. Our kids and aupair are home with the dogs while we are away at work and will mostly be in the playroom which is gated off to not allow access to the dogs. If your pet is house trained and trust worthy, he/she is welcome to roam the house while we're away or we can use a crate if you prefer. We're typically home during the evenings and weekends or somewhere the dogs can come with us. The only things we require are that your dog is house trained, great with kids, and he/she gets along with Lincoln. We typically require a meet-and-greet at our home prior to your pup's stay. At the meet and greet, we'll put Lincoln on a leash and meet you out front for a quick lap around the block then we'll bring them in the yard and let them run around to make sure everyone seems to get along.
