Hello! My name is Jenette and I love dogs! I am currently a graduate student at PSU and am in the homestretch of my program. As I finish up the last two quarters of my program, I am looking for ways to stay afloat financially while also integrating wellness - such as walking, dogs, and nature (an ideal combo, if you ask me). I have a 6 year old German Shepard that I love to take on hikes and runs around the Gorge and Mount Tabor and would be more than happy to do the same for your pup. Please reach out to me if you need support with walks/runs for your dog or some house sitting, too. I am happy to do drop-ins, too. lease reach out and we can set something up!

I think it is important to offer daily exercise and stimulation for your pup! I of course will ensure they always have water and are fed when it is their time. I believe keeping them on their routine will be crucial to ensuring a good experience for the both of us. I also will honor their physical needs - I know this varies per dog with age/ability. If they are active, I am happy to take your dog on runs and/or walks. Conversely, I am also able to keep it easy and keep them entertained if they are senior/low energy dogs.

Before watching your pet, I would like to know if they are on medications, if they are reactive, if they have any health conditions/limitations, and their activity schedule. I also would like to know what a day in their life looks like so I can keep them on track.
A typical day
I LOVE Mount Tabor - it is a second home to me! I am happy to take your dog(s) there and let them play at the dog park, but I personally prefer walking with them! That usually takes about 90 minutes (let's be real - the fresh air is good for both of us!).

Availability
I am mostly available on weekends, and Tuesdays after 5p. If I am house sitting, I am happy to stay at your house with your dog(s) as long as you have working wifi so I can do homework. I make sure to take dogs out every 2-4 hours and will clean up after them. I will, of course, take them for a walk at the beginning of the day and towards the end of the day.
