I have always had a love for dogs and have been caring for them since I was a kid. Whether it was through dog sitting for the neighbors or caring for my own, I have always been around animals and never plan to stop. My husband loves dogs possibly more than anyone I have ever met, and his big heart for animals is one of his greatest qualities. My husband and I have one dog, Zeus. Zeus is 10 years old and is sweet as can be! Zeus was in a car accident when he was a puppy that left him with a metal plate in his back hip and a broken paw. Although Zeus is going strong now, we understand what it is like to take into consideration the needs of an animal that has undergone a trauma or just needs special care and attention. This could be as simple as noticing when to make his walk a little shorter that day because his paw is bothering him or changing up the route to accommodate his needs. Zeus also has a thyroid condition and takes multiple pills a day, so both my husband and I have experience administering medication if necessary. My husband and I have taken care of dogs big and small and find that Zeus gets along with everyone. When you are looking for someone who will take into consideration the needs of your pup, look no further! We understand how important it is that a pill be administered at the right time, a topical spray be put on for relief, a walk be at the right time of the day for ease of breathing for certain breeds or seniors, and so on. My husband and I work from home, so most days we are at home with very flexible schedules. We are available most days for pet boarding and my flexible schedule allows me to pop in to check in on your pet throughout the day as needed. We have a cozy home with a lovely fenced in yard for dogs to play! Zeus is very friendly and loves everyone; he would love to keep your pup company! We take him on daily walks to a neighborhood park that is 5 minutes away from our house as well as play with him and his toys in the backyard.
