I have been house and petsitting for over fifteen years. My husband and I own an energetic Vizsla puppy, named Tilly, who loves any dog or human she meets. I've also owned birds my whole life and I've sat for people with dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs, so if needed I can check in on your other pets while I'm taking care of your dog. I'm an early riser and run at least 3 times a week, as well as swim and hike, so whether your dog likes to take it easy or get in some quality time outdoors, I am happy doing both! Summer is always great, but I love the fall and winter, so no matter what the season your dog will get plenty of time outdoors. I am happy taking care of all types of dogs! Whether your dog is a puppy who needs a little extra attention, a senior dog with medication needs, or maybe one that doesn't play well with others; I have experience with all personalities, breeds, and behavior types!

I have a medium-sized fenced in yard (8ft privacy fence), so dogs are able to move around freely in the backyard at our home. Moreover, our neighborhood is very walkable, so it’s a great area for dog walking. When I’m at a client’s home or walking your dog, I will always keep your dog on a leash in public places and send frequent updates with pictures or videos.

A typical day
I like to start the day out with a walk or some play time. Followed by downtime or solo play for the dog. In the afternoon we’ll have another activity time (walk, play, etc) and in the evenings we’ll hang out together on the couch while we unwind.

Availability
I’m currently working from home, so I will be around most of the day to care for the pups. I like to get up early and keep an active lifestyle, so exercising your dog will not be an issue. When the weather is agreeable in the off season, we like to go to the beach during the to let our puppy run around.
