Pet care experience
I am a 35 year old living in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Having grown up in Vermont with lots of dogs and cats around - I am very used to (and love!) having animals around at all times. My building doesn’t accept pets so sadly, I’m not able to have any of my own. However I often stay over at my cousin’s when he travels to take care of his pup and do so also with many other friends’ cats/dogs. When I go home to Vermont to visit, there’s 3 dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens to care for! I can sometimes work remotely from home, so that allows for a greater flexibility in terms of my availability. I also used to work at a vet clinic when I was in high school.

I am writing this for Jenel Ronn. I have known Jenel for many years and through those years she has helped me with my pets when needed. Currently I have two dogs, a cat, and six chickens. One of my dogs is quite old and requires special attention. Jenel is very caring and responsible. All my animals love her!
Jenel is trustworthy, caring, responsive and detail oriented. She treats our dog like it’s a part of her family and keeps it fun and safe for our pup. Now our dog a little over two; jenel has been great throughout all stages of his life. We’d highly recommend Jenel to anyone seeking a great sitter/walker
Jenel took care of Felix my cat while my husband and I were away and I felt very much at ease leaving my kitty with her. She is so good with Felix and I can tell he’s at ease with her. When I came back to the apartment from our trip, Felix was happy and his litter box was clean and the apartment was spotless! I would definitely recommend Jenel to anyone looking for someone to stay with their pet while they’re away
Jenel took care of Bell, our 65 lb cattle dog mix who has aggression and anxiety issues. She's not an easy dog to care for. Jenel kept her safe and happy, walked her and played with her. And Bell even ate consistently while I was away (sometimes she goes on a hunger strike when I leave) which tells me she really felt at ease with Jenel caring for her. I don't trust too many people with my wild dog, but Jenel is my first call.

I will take your dog on walks many times during the day (I have plenty of dog walking experience!) and take them to the park if the weather is nice. If it’s an overnight I’ll play and hang out and give lots of pets so they aren’t lonely. I know it’s important to follow rules around food, so I’ll only give treats according to your instructions!
