I do not take pride in tarnishing someone's reputation. Particularly someone young who is still learning the way life works. But I felt the need to alert others to a very poor interaction I had with Jena. She'd become our "go to" walker and was fantastic about helping us out last minute when our busy family activities sometimes wouldn't allow us to get home to walk our dog in time. She was on-time, courteous and sweet. So I was more than happy to extend the offer to house sit for us this weekend. While to me, it's not a big deal to forget a meeting to pick up keys, when we were working to reschedule it, Jena made several unprofessional, unfounded claims about me and my expectations of her. After misreading a frowny face (which I used to convey that I was sad she'd have to stop by later than we'd planned - 8 pm vs 6 pm) she misread it by a mile, and said i was disrespecting her. Accused me of being cheap - stating an imposition I'd placed on her for wanted to negotiate the rate - which we never negotiated. And then said she was uncomfortable working with us, leaving us with basically 1 day to find, vet and hire a new person. Jena is sweet, and capable, but clearly immature. If you are a family that relies on dependable people, with very little room for error, find someone else!

Thank you Jena, I always feel comfortabe and confident that my fur babies will be taken care of when I leave them with you. My babies are lucky to have such a caring person looking after them!
