My husband and I both grew up with and around dogs and have bonded with them from a young age. I have 10 years of experience walking multiple dogs daily, as well as keeping them happy with playtime and affection. My husband and I truly enjoy spending time with and taking care of dogs! As a massage therapist and personal trainer, my schedule is extremely flexible. I make it myself week by week based on the needs of both my life and my clients. During my time taking care of dogs, I make sure to arrange my schedule so that I am never gone for more than 4 hours. We are both quite active and enjoy being outside, so any dog in our care will get a lot of playtime at parks and long walks outside. We are comfortable walking up to 3 dogs at one time. My husband works from home (Marketing) and is generally around to keep the dog company (as well as go out for walks!) in my absence. We are home most nights reading, watching movies, and relaxing. As a massage therapist, I have had several clients ask me to work on their elderly dogs with hip problems. I do not have any formal training in massage therapy for dogs, but I have developed my own simple techniques over the years that help to keep older dogs more comfortable and relaxed. While dog sitting is a great way to bring in extra cash, we are not able to have our own dog right now and do it truly for the pet therapy:) I have experience giving dogs oral medication and am quite comfortable with it.
