My roommate and I love having dogs in our home to play with, talk to and cuddle with. Dog-sitting is always a wonderful adventure! We’ve been caring for our own dogs for 16 years, and love looking after the pets of friends and family. Someday, we hope to foster dogs, too! We don't currently have dogs of our own. My roommate lost his yellow lab, Cheyanne, about two years ago, and I lost my Shih Tzu, Hannah, earlier this year. We both have a lot of love to share with our guests! I have more experience with smaller breeds, and my roommate has always had Labs. My teenage daughter loves dogs to no end, and she’ll often be around to look after them; I also have a twelve-year-old son who enjoys puppy playtime when he’s at home. The dogs in our care will get lots of attention from all four of us! On weekends we might go hiking or spend time gardening, toss a frisbee around at the park, or sit in the sun to read. We live in the neighborhood in Lake Stevens. There is a little park nearby and lots of areas to walk and explore. We have a fenced backyard, where lots of squirrels and birds take advantage of our berry bushes. There aren't too many dogs nearby, so your dog would be able to relax and explore our yard without being disturbed. In the summer, we often leave our back door open for pups to come and go as they please. I’m patient, generous, and incredibly affectionate. My love for dogs is boundless. When we’re hanging out, I like to talk to them--full, lengthy conversations about everything under the sun! There’s nothing I love more than discovering a pup’s personality and getting to know them.
