I have lived with a range of dog breeds (GSD, staffies, chihuahua) for over 10 years. My family dogs were adopted, so I have experience of working with certain reactive types of dog. I currently have a 1 y/o staffy girl (neutered) who I’ve had since she was a puppy, so know the ins and outs of looking after a puppy and the importantance of a routine. I have experience feeding dogs both raw, wet and dry food, using a crate, walking on a regular lead and slip lead, also doing some basic skills training. I also know how to manage dogs with skin allergies. I am very active and can take dogs out on long hikes if you like, especially at the weekend. I enjoy creating stimulating games for dogs that go beyond the bowl, to support good enrichment and stimulation. I work from home so have a flexible routine. I can take dogs at most times of the day! I live a few minutes walk away from a park so can take dogs regularly between my meetings at work if they need exercise or toilet breaks often. My front garden is fenced with a small gate. Bigger dogs will always be leashed if their recall is not great. Dogs will have access to my kitchen and living room area and basement. I have a large spare dog bed for when they come over too.
