Hi! I'm Jen, I've been an animal lover my entire life and am especially fond of dogs. I grew up with a Rat Terrier mix who was my best friend for 16 1/2 years. After that I helped care for my parent's rescue dog, pet sit friend's dogs and occasionally fostered with the WI Humane Society and Wisconsin Boston Terrier Rescue. I've been through training classes with both of my parent's dogs, so I'm very familiar with positive reinforcement training techniques and I've attended a dog behavior class at the humane society. In 2020 I adopted my own pup from the Wisconsin Boston Terrier Rescue. She was my first foster fail! Since then I’ve had to stop pet sitting dogs at my house because she’s iffy with other dogs. I still am open for drop in visits and dog walks though! I have a part time job as a Captioning Assistant for the hearing impaired, am a working Jazz musician and am attending college for Environmental Health and Science.
