Hello! My name is Jen, and as a lifelong dog owner myself, I know that dogs are not just pets; they're members of our families. I would be honored to watch over your furry friend and treat them as if they were my own! Let me tell you a little more about myself and what makes me a great and trustworthy sitter for your dog. I have extensive personal and career experience caring for animals of all sizes. I earned my bachelors degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois in 2010. I also worked as a kennel/veterinary technician for companion animals in high school, college, and after college before becoming a great ape keeper at the Saint Louis Zoo in 2011. As a zookeeper, I cared for gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans and was responsible for their daily feedings, safety, positive reinforcement training, health, and enrichment. Currently, I’m taking a step back from my professional career to stay at home with our toddler and our two dogs, Moose and Winnie, who are both under a year old and love to play! We love being outside and have a very large, fenced-in backyard, so any dogs staying with us will have lots of room to roam and run around (with supervision, of course!)
