I absolutely love dogs and they will never be left wanting or needing anything when in my care. I have experience training dogs in a shelter to make them "more adoptable", so whatever kind of quirk your dog might have, I can try and convince him to behave (with treats of course!) I had my first dog when I was about 6 and have been learning and growing alongside dogs all my life. They are a joy to have around and I would love to help you out if you have vacations or are unable to give full time to your dog for whatever reason. Please allow at least 24 hours notice before booking. If we have never met before, I also schedule a meet & greet before booking. I also enjoy cats as well! As long as they are friendly and tolerant, I'm able to get along with them famously. Considering COVID-19, I may request that we meet virtually first rather than an in-person meet and greet. I am flexible as long as we are safe about it.

Highly recommend Jen for your pet sitting needs! She sent lots of updates and it was evident that she loved spending time with our pets. Bonus that she stayed at our house and it looks cleaner than when we left it ?
Jen was great with Mikey! We were gone for 10 days, many without service on our phones. We knew Mikey was in great hands! We received a few pictures to let us know that Mikey was having a good time! It was nice to know that our house and our dog were in great hands! And she left the house cleaner than she found it I think! If you need a dog sitter Jen would be a wonderful choice. We will definitely ask for her when we travel again.
Jen is the sweetest person!! I knew right away that she would be the perfect person to take care of Carly and Finn. I’m so glad I found her. She stayed with them this weekend in my home and did a wonderful job. I loved the pictures she sent and took with them. When I got home the dogs were so happy and relaxed that you would have never known I was gone all weekend. Lol I knew they had enjoyed having Jen’s company and that she took great care of them. Made me so happy. I think Finn already misses her. My mom can’t wait to meet her and looks forward to having her take care of hers as well. She’s terrific!!

I love big dogs, gentle giants. But I also worked in a shelter before so any manner and size of dog I can work with and enjoy just as well. Any quirks that could potentially be hazardous to the dog; mannerisms around other dogs (are they friendly or a little aggressive? Should we avoid parks?) Anything you would like me to know about your dog I would love to know so I can best decide how to love and care for your dog.
A typical day
Walks (around your neighborhood or parks, wherever you prefer), play (I do not own any toys so hopefully you have some favorites for your dog), training (if you're interested; simple commands to teach to your dog like sit and stay, etc., I can do that. I can also teach tricks. We can discuss how I do it so you can keep practicing as well. With treats!), and lots and lots of love, ear scratches, and belly rubs
