Jen was really great! We left our dog for a long stay with her. She updated us frequently about our dog and made sure we were comfortable. Our dog loves staying with her. She even gifted our dog with toys she had at home because he liked playing with them!

Jen is AMAZING! Had an issue with another booking last minute while I was out of town and Jen stepped in and was willing to take my pup at 10:30pm and watch her until I came back. Sent lots of pics and videos so I know my baby was well taken care of. My pup can be an anxious one but Jen was such a gem! Will definitely be calling her for some pup sitting again!

Jen was great! Easy to schedule with and did a meet and great before our first overnight. Great communication and my puppy (7 months) came back happy and healthy after an extended 9 nights stay.

Safety, trust & environment

In my free time, I enjoy rubbing bellies, booping noses, wagging tails, snoring dogs, and pet sighs. Animals have taught me so much about forgiveness, non-judgement, and present-moment awareness and we certainly don’t deserve them for all they do for us. In return, I hope to reciprocate even an ounce of love that they have for us. I am Fear Free shelter certified and consistently seek ways to educate myself on dog behavior and animal emotional health through books and training programs. Additionally, I am certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in pet CPR.

Information Jen N. would like to know about your pet

To measure compatibility and comfort, I would like to know about feeding and potty schedules, any medications/health issues, vaccinations, socialization level, as well as any quirks. Please be honest about any of your dog’s destructive tendencies or severity of their separation anxiety. It doesn’t deter me from a booking but will help the dog significantly if I can take preventive measures to avoid encouraging negative behavior..

A typical day

I am very familiar with all breeds from Portuguese water dogs and lhasa apsos to Belgian Malinois and bull mastiffs. I welcome the mayhem and the well-behaved. If your dog is a homebody, I’m a homebody. If your dog is adventurous, I’m adventurous. We can go on long walks or we can take naps all day. I strive to provide the best care through genuine love and to give my due diligence where comfort and safety are concerned. Some of my best practices while watching pets include sticking to your pet’s daily routine and diet as strictly as possible so as not to interrupt their training/home life. I will not provide any food or treats that isn’t approved or provided by you to prevent a potential upset stomach. I am familiar with bloating in pets so I will always ensure that meal times do not occur immediately after playtime. Additionally, I only crate dogs if they are crate trained and only at the owner’s suggestion. Lastly, I send daily photos and videos typically in the evenings. I try not to bother you while you’re on holiday/vacation/work trip/family crisis.

For boarding, I only board one dog at a time for maximum care and attention. I can provide dog walking and dog drops at any time of the day and I can travel up to 30 minutes for drops in and walks! When I housesit, I am home with your pets and I spend the night. I do step out to workout and to grab food but I don’t spend more than 4 hours away at a time from your fur babies if I can help it at all.
