Feel right at home
Pet care experience
I have been in the dog world for over 20 years. I have and continue to work in rescue where I provide a foster home for homeless or unwanted dogs. I specialize in litter rescue and puppies, but not at the same time as visiting dogs. I believe dogs are a part of the family and should live life accordingly. Whether they are comfortable on the couch, bed, or their crate they will be a part of our family during their stay. I will send daily texts and photo updates while your dog stays with me. We have toys, treats, blankets, beds everything a dog could want. Your dog will enjoy a relaxing, comfortable stay. Dogs must be good with children and vaccines up to date.
Reviews
Jen and her family were wonderful! They cared for Buford like he was part of their family. Thank you!
Words cannot describe how amazing Jen has been with our 11 month old chocolate lab. Lucy is so excited to arrive at Jens, she can hardly contain herself. She’s happy and tired (in the best way) when we pick her up. We know she’s safe, loved, and played with while there. So thankful to have found Jen!
We are really happy to have found Jen and her sweet family. We booked her last minute for a couple nights and she was accommodating and flexible with drop off and pick up times. We arranged a meet and greet a couple days beforehand and I immediately felt comfortable and trusted my dog would be in good care. She texted picture updates which we very much appreciated since it was our first time leaving our pup behind. Our dog seemed so happy and we will definitely use her again when we head outta town.
My rescue had a wonderful stay with Jen! He seemed so relaxed and happy when I picked him up. Jen sent me some pictures while I was gone which put my mind at ease. I could see that he was enjoying himself there. Thanks, Jen!

Information Jen M. would like to know about your pet
I fully believe in setting up a meet and greet, so I can meet your dog first, to make sure it’s going to be a good fit. It also allows me to meet you face to face and learn more about the dog’s behavior. I also like to learn about their eating habits, and daily schedules. I believe, like kids, a schedule is so important for a dog, they shouldn’t have to worry when feeding time is, or walk time, I like to keep it as close to what they have at home here. Also if your dog is on any medication, it’s no problem for me to give them that. I also like to have a contact number for you and their vet in case of emergency. It’s always best to be prepared.
A typical day
Your dog will enjoy playing with toys, going for walks and hanging out with the family. If your dog is most comfortable sleeping on your bed, that’s no problem. I also have a dog park walking distance from my home with two sides, one for little guys and one for larger dogs. I have no problem going there if that is something the owner is ok with. I’m not an advocate for pinch collars, prong collars, choke chains or shock collars, I believe these are a cruel form of training. I am a big proponent of harnesses.
