I live in Lakewood and had a sweet Beagle, Silas for 13-1/2 years. Instead of getting another dog after he passed I decided to start dog sitting and bring a bunch of different dogs into my life! While the company of dogs is a major perk, I'm also drawn to the parent side. I understand how difficult it is to find someone that you trust to care for your best friend. I had a very difficult time leaving my bub so it brings me joy when I can form trusting relationships with both the dog and the parent to provide a comfortable and familiar place to stay while allowing the parent(s) to travel worry-free. My home and yard are both secure and I am extremely experienced at not letting the dog out! Rover is a great alternative for older dogs or dogs that prefer a quieter or more "homey" environment. I do work full-time out of the house with half day summer Fridays. This can be too long for some dogs. Works great when the dog is used to a similar schedule at home.

Jen was absolutely amazing! She watched our dogs while we were out of town and they seemed sad to leave her. Her communication was great, asked a lot of questions, and loved our two girls!! Cozy home and gated backyard which was wonderful. We will for sure book with Jen again! Thank you for everything!

I would like a little overview of your dog's personality, walking schedule, triggers, quirky habits, likes and dislikes, any special needs and whether they are comfortable being left alone during the "workday" since I work full time during the week. Most of this can be discussed during our first meet and greet.
A typical day
I want to provide a fun, yet safe environment for your dog. I love walks and walk daily so it's a + if your pup enjoys them too, car rides, trips to DQ for doggy cones, playtime in the fenced yard, sunbathing on the deck, visits to the Metro Park - however I do not take dogs to the Dog Park and lets not forget the snuggles and the cuddles! I'm experienced with senior care if your dog needs a little more tender loving care and attention.

I work outside of the home - full-time with half day Fridays in the summer. This may be too long for some dogs but works great when parents have the same hours.
