I have experience caring for dogs and cats with complicated medical issues, sensitive diets and post-surgical recovery. I've spent my professional life working in human health care and you can trust me to stay calm in any situation, follow the most detailed & critical instructions and respond quickly and level-headed in any emergency. I am the primary pet care provider in the house but my wife and teenage daughter are also here and a phenomenal help. Whitney has a weakness for chihuahuas (hence our two mixes) and a talent for winning over the grumpiest of elderly little dogs and Leah is currently obsessed with corgis and has always had a big passion for cats small and large. I will always have a sweet spot for hound breeds thanks to the loyal family beagle I grew up with. None of us will ever discriminate, however, and we will welcome your animals into our home and love them like our own. When Whitney's beloved old chihuahua passed we knew we wanted two dogs so we specifically looked to rescue a "bonded pair" and that's how Cesar and Willow came into our lives in 2017 at ages 2&3. Willow is our social butterfly. She makes fast friends with dogs who love to run in big circles and is quick to play foster mom to any unattended puppies in her presence. Cesar is lazier and prefers the company of humans. Every now and then he bonds with a rover dog and it's the sweetest thing, but he will most likely sit on my feet while I watch Willow play with your dog and tolerate some mild snuggling. And as for our cat Tinkerbell-it doesn't really matter how your dog is around cats because they will never see her. She's a diva with her own bedroom with a pet gate to keep the dogs out and she will make herself scarce when there are strangers of any species in our home.
