Pet care experience
Thank you for your interest. We are not accepting new clients at this time. I am a seasoned Registered Veterinary Technician. I share my home with a dog savvy cat, Impy, a near 40 pounds youthful German Shepherd mix, Harper, and a fellow animal lover, Jeff, who will aid in the care of your pup. If I were to care for your family member, be confident no medical need is too complicated. I can care for your pup large or small as long as your pup is cat friendly. You can expect plenty of exercise and daily photo updates. In addition to free access to the house and fully fenced yard throughout the day, your pup will enjoy several walks around the neighborhood and/or a stroll in the nearby trails daily. It is my preference to take care of two to three furry guests at a time. This will ensure that they receive the proper attention and supervision. I'm also a cat lover who can charm even the most aloof of cats. I'm available for cat sitting in your home or mine. Details can be discussed and customized. Looking forward to meeting you and your fuzzy friends.

We boarded our dog Luna overnight with Jen for a week and she did an amazing job taking care of her -- multiple daily walks and lots of attention and playtime. She was super responsive and sent us many fun photos and updates of Luna every day. Luna always looked like she was having a blast! Jen even followed up afterwards to ask how Luna was transitioning back at home. We highly recommend her and will definitely be repeat customers!

We love to learn about the routines at home, to ensure a smooth transition from their home to ours, and back home. We have a dog savvy cat, and would like to know if your pup is cat friendly. If there are special requests, please communicate that! We very much appreciate all adults to be spayed or neutered, and all dogs to be crate trained.
A typical day
On Thursdays -Sundays we may head out for an adventure walk to Fremont Older Open Space, Steven's Creek Trail, or Mountain View Shoreline. The walks can last anywhere between 45 minutes to 1.5 hour. We adjust and modify the length and duration of the walks based on the climate, age and ability of our guests.

Between Jeff and I, we are home a lot. We had set up our schedule to provide care for our late dog, Ashby, and it has worked really well for our guest pups.
