Pet care experience
During my time in NP school I dog sat all the time via Rover and learned so much about caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. Now that I have moved to LA, have a dog-friendly place with a fenced yard and live a 1 minute walk to the beach, I am so excited to welcome dogs here! We have a pug, Basil - who is about 1.5 years old, with all his shots and loves all dogs :) I have become very close to dogs I’ve taken care of, most definitely loving them like they were my own. I'm a prompt communicator, friendly and responsible, and very eager to hang out with your pup! I would love to answer any other questions you have/schedule a meet and greet :)

Jen is our favorite Rover! We always get lots of pictures while we are away and can tell that our pup Oliver is so relaxed and happy at both drop off and pickup. Thank you for being so great Jen!
Jen is absolutely amazing! She has watched our dog Barley several times and always does a fantastic job. Barley loves her, and she really goes above and beyond as a dog sitter. She stays in our home and we always come back to a clean house, with sheets and towels washed, a happy dog, and sometimes even some home-baked treats for us. Couldn't ask for anything more!
I have been using rover for a while and Jen really provided an over the top experience for Barkley and myself. Not only did she obviously spend a ton of time with Barkley, which is extremely important to me in a sitter, but she also made it fun for the both of them. By the end of the weekend, Barkley had done more sightseeing around Boston than I had and he was obviously having a great time. Jen also took impeccable care of my house, and even left me some baked goodies and a thoughtful handwritten card to return to. I would absolutely ask Jen to watch over Barkley in the future!
Jen went so far beyond what we could imagine a dog-sitter and house sitter would do. To start with, she took great care of our dogs. Second, the dog photos she sent were not just cute, she has a a real photographic eye and flare for composition. Third, there was a big snowstorm and she shoveled our drive without asking. Fourth, she not only washed the sheets and towels she used, she did our other laundry too. Fifth, she made us a batch of fresh almond biscotti, perfectly cooked. My head is still spinning about how great she was.

I'd like to know if your dog is friendly with people and/or other dogs and whether they like to run/walk/take it easy. Also if they have any health concerns/quirks I should know about. I'm happy to tailor to any specific needs they may have. No breed preferences - I've never met a dog I didn't love.
A typical day
Everyday we take our own dog on a few walks a day - around the neighboorhood and down to the beach where there's a great bike path. If you bring your dog over to hang out/for overnights, we will most definitely be doing that! I also love going on hikes and visiting parks

I work tues-sat but my fiancé works from home so someone will always be there for your dog. I walk my own dog in the AM before I leave, and when I get home from work.
