I’m relaxed, patient, caring--and completely committed to being a warm and loving presence for your dog. My availability is wide open and I am currently working from home Mon, Thurs, and Fri. On the weekends I will be around fully, which means that your loved one will get all the attention he or she could possibly want! I grew up with Samoyeds, but have experience caring for many other breeds. I’ve always loved being around animals and have sought out every possible opportunity to enjoy their company and to become a better caregiver. In college, I worked at a veterinary hospital. I was an animal caretaker, which entailed looking after all the animals that were boarding. As a result, I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs and have worked with many other animals as well. I’m able to stay calm in all kinds of situations, and dogs are able to absorb my calming energy anytime they start to get anxious or overwhelmed. Photography is one of my hobbies, and I love trying to capture the best picture every day when I’m dog-sitting. I know that owners will appreciate the photos and other communication that I’ll send your way. I hate to say no to a puppy face, so I need no more than a nudge to join in on their favorite game or step outside for a refreshing walk. I live in a two-bedroom condo with plenty of space to run around and play fetch. Living in a residential area of Boston allows for quick potty breaks and leisurely walks to the nearby park. I live with my husband and our very friendly two year old Westie (Frankie). I can be a bit reserved with humans, but I have lots of love to bestow on canine companions. While I otherwise enjoy going out, whenever there’s a dog around, my friends know I’ll turn down social events--and tell them I’d rather hang out with the dog.
