I am a business professor and I'm teaching my sons (ages 15 and 17) about owning their own business, which is called Two Brothers Petsitting Service. They have been professionally petsitting for over 10 years now and have great references. They have experience petsitting cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and lizards. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat so they are very comfortable with animals. They (along with me) will go to your house 1-3 times/day to take care of your pets, play with them, pet them, put them to bed, and clean up the poop in your backyard.
